“Given the uncertainty around AI, educational institutions are defaulting to low-risk resilience strategies, such as equipping their staff with a level of AI literacy sufficient to allow for some incorporation of AI into existing models. This will not be enough.”

Our report on Universities and AI: Developing New Models of Teaching and Learning in the Realm of Radical Uncertainty was launched yesterday as part of EU-funded National Digital Leadership Network in Ireland.

Written with Dr Richard Whittle (University of Salford), the report critically examines the impact of AI on university teaching, and provides advice for university leaders on how to strategically engage with AI.
